And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira with a poor takedown
and Stone counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Stone looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chris Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone lands with a hook. Oliveira tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Oliveira tries to clinch up.
Stone throws a body kick that misses.
A combination from Oliveira does no damage.

Stone lands a left and a right that send Oliveira crashing to the mat, dazed. Stone thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oliveira looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Oliveira misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Chris Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Oliveira.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Oliveira crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stone - the referee stops the clock and Oliveira gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stone. Oliveira manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Stone scores with a counter punch that sends Oliveira to the canvas! Stone smells blood - he's punishing Oliveira with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Oliveira has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
