Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaija Koo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tan lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koo's entrance music is Kaija Koo - Kuka keksi rakkauden?. A fine choice. tan lee told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaija Koo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, tan lee!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
lee gets the takedown into side control.
Koo tries to buck lee off but lee is having none of it.
Koo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Koo is trying to get back to full guard.
lee trying to control from half guard but Koo is working away.
lee prevents Koo from improving his position.
lee is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Koo misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Koo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of lee's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take lee's back!
Koo trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
lee wants to control his opponent's hands but Koo gets his hands free.
lee is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Will Koo go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Koo looking for the choke from the back.
Koo is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. lee knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften lee for a finish.
Koo cracks lee with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing lee from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Koo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Koo lands a shot to the body.
lee is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Koo is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften lee up.
Koo is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. lee is defending well though. Koo let's go of the attempt for now.
lee manages to reverse the position and now he's in Koo's guard. Nice work there by lee.

lee with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as lee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Koo looking for a guillotine here but lee defends easily.
lee is posturing up here but Koo has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! lee tries to roll out but it's too tight and lee has to tap! Slick submission there by Koo!
