Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sat Vegeta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevens Takedowner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takedowner closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Takedowner lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Takedowner slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Vegeta changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Takedowner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Vegeta is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Takedowner knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Takedowner for a finish.

Takedowner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Vegeta has his foot on Takedowner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Takedowner works his way back into a safe position though.

Takedowner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vegeta has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Takedowner has managed to get both his arms back between Vegeta's legs - danger averted.

Takedowner fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vegeta to the ground. Takedowner is now in Vegeta's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vegeta is pulling down on Takedowner's head. It's preventing any offense from Takedowner, at least for the moment.

Well Takedowner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
