Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Dummy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caeser Augustus!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Augustus. Beautiful body shot.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Dummy enables Augustus to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dummy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Dummy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Augustus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Augustus trying to control but Dummy is working from the bottom.
Augustus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dummy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Augustus has managed to get both his arms back between Dummy's legs - danger averted.
Dummy wants to sweep here but Augustus controlling him for the moment.
Dummy keeping full guard, as Augustus tries to pass.
Augustus trying to control the position from guard on top but Dummy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dummy working for a triangle but Augustus defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dummy is looking to cinch up a triangle. Augustus throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dummy's body to avoid the submission. Dummy has instead reached around Augustus's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dummy arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). John Dummy!
During a confident post fight interview, John Dummy thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
