Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gus Dengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Hefner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dengel comes to the ring accompanied by Papillon. Hefner is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Puff The Magic Dragon. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Hugh Hefner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dengel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hefner was covering up waiting for the punch and Dengel finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Hefner looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dengel has picked Hefner up and slammed him! Hefner can't keep hold of the triangle and Dengel manages to pass to side control!

Dengel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hefner knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Dengel working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Dengel is trying to get an arm triangle but Hefner is defending well.

Dengel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hefner knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dengel goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hefner rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dengel's guard! Nice work there by Hefner!

Hefner content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Dengel has locked up a guillotine! Dengel's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Hefner is holding on here and Dengel must be using up a lot of energy. Hefner has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Dengel gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
