The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell tries for a takedown but Brady sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Brady moves out of range as Mitchell strikes.
Brady throws a body punch but Mitchell moves out of range.
Brady could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Brady rushes Mitchell and presses him up against the cage.

Mitchell manages to break the clinch.
Mitchell dives in and grabs Brady's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brady pushes down on Mitchell's head and hops out.
Brady bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mitchell's head.
Mitchell misses with a takedown attempt - Brady sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Brady dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mitchell. That did some damage!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Mitchell is trying desperately to land a takedown but Brady is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mitchell.
Brady has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mitchell is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Brady fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mitchell on the side of the head.

Mitchell stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brady.

Mitchell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brady circles away quickly and effectively.

Brady throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brady.

Mitchell tries to clinch but Brady moves out of range.

Brady closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Brady stands up and beckons Mitchell to his feet.

Mitchell stalks Brady and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brady's face. Brady staggers backwards, shaken.

Brady closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mitchell's guard.
Scott Mitchell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Marshal Brady is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Mitchell had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brady defends it easily.
