Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gayle Albert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Telesphoros Bullens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Telesphoros Bullens has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gayle Albert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Telesphoros Bullens!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Albert shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bullens's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bullens working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Albert doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Albert manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Albert decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bullens to his feet.

Albert shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bullens manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Albert wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bullens keeps working.

Bullens should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Albert knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bullens on the ground.

Bullens had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Albert defends it easily.

Bullens escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Albert gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bullens pulls Albert in close to prevent any damage.

Bullens isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Albert stacks Bullens on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Albert!
Albert content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bullens is staying active underneath Albert, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Albert shoots in and bounces Bullens off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Gayle Albert overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bullens wants to stand and escape but Albert is having none of it.

Albert tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bullens's legs.
Bullens is letting Albert control him for a moment.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bullens is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Albert asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That's time! Albert's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Albert feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bullens has eaten all the pies!
Bullens is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Albert wanted to stand there but Bullens had control of the position.

Bullens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Albert can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

You can see the frustration on Bullens's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Albert goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bullens has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Albert but great work by Bullens.

Bullens tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bullens has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Telesphoros Bullens comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Albert has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
