Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haloti Gnata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Belin Billet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billet has chosen BOOM BAM! as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Gnata does no damage.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Billet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Billet has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Gnata circles away from the clinch attempt.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Billet tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gnata sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Billet somewhat.

and Billet counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gnata won't be happy with that.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Billet wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gnata keeps working.

Gnata is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Men of Mayhem (1 TPL, 6 DBL, 5 SGL)(50 member cap), so we'll see if he gets out of it.
