Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Asso Incus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hurt has chosen Slayer - Here Comes The Pain as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt wants to clinch.
Hurt tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hurt looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Incus.
Nice takedown defense from Hurt. No joy for Incus on that attempt.
Incus closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Incus lands in his opponent's guard.

Incus pushes Hurt off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Hurt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hurt wants to control the pace but Incus is squirming around nicely.

That was a close second round but I would say that Asso Incus will probably get the nod.

and Hurt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Incus's guard.
Hurt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Incus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Incus is pressed up against the cage. Hurt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Incus down to the mat. Incus avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Hurt counters with a nice double leg into side control. Incus won't be happy with that.

Hurt tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hurt has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Incus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Incus is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
