PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mizushima Muroi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lan Mandragoran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muroi comes into the arena with Get Out - Circa Survive blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mizushima Muroi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lan Mandragoran!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandragoran swings for the body but Muroi moves out of range.
Muroi wants to slow Mandragoran down by chopping away at his legs.
Muroi misses with a body kick.
Mandragoran throws out a loose jab but Muroi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Muroi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mandragoran circles away quickly and effectively.
Mandragoran misses with a wild body shot.
Mandragoran scores with a shot to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mandragoran. That's going to slow Muroi down.
An inside leg kick from Muroi misses.
Mandragoran throws a combination. Muroi tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Muroi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mandragoran manages to avoid it.
Mandragoran cracks Muroi with a good jab.

Mandragoran feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Muroi sprawling to the canvas! Muroi rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mandragoran finish him?!

It looks like Mizushima Muroi has been cut.
Muroi walks straight into a right hand from Mandragoran - that's dropped him! Mandragoran jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Muroi from any more punishment! Muroi complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Lan Mandragoran!
