Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarvan Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Stoker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jarvan Four!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pat Stoker!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Four drives through with a takedown into Stoker's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Four is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Four postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Four stays in close to Stoker's body and controls the position.
Four loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Stoker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Four. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Four's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Stoker can't keep his opponent in guard - Four advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Four stalling.
Four looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stoker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Four perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Four definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Four seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stoker for as long as he can get away with.
Four not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Stoker is trying to maintain the position but Four is very close to passing his half guard.
Four drops an elbow to the side of Stoker's head.
Four content to control rather than advance.
Four's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well, if Four is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Four has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Four cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stoker gets back to half guard.
Four is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Four slows the pace down in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stoker has hold of Four's hands but Four slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Four landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Four content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Four connects with a nice short shot to Stoker's temple.
Stoker is trying to control but can't.
Four is nestled in close to Stoker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Four scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Four not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Four working the head and body with strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Four seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Stoker is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Four scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Four connects with a nice short shot to Stoker's temple.
Four lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Stoker enables Four to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stoker manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Stoker can't keep his opponent in guard - Four advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Four in particular looking to stall.

Four is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stoker can do to turn this around?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
