Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wet Hell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Shields has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wet Hell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Shields!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shields throws a body kick that misses.

Shields drives through and clinches with Hell against the cage.

Shields has Hell pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Shields pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hell tumbling to the mat - Shields dives into Hell's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Shields throwing strikes from guard but Hell blocks nicely.
Shields throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hell works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hell pushes down on Shields's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Shields is concentrating on defense, preventing Hell from advancing position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shields is trying to control but can't.

Shields is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hell pulls his head out easily.
Shields has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hell is working away from the top position though.

Shields wants to get back to full guard.
Shields wants to control but Hell is keeping busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jason Shields.

Shields moves into the clinch successfully.

Shields gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shields looks to land a strike but Hell avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Shields loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Hell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Shields has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hell off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Shields turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
