Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jan Alleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Bob Boom!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom scores with a jab to the body.
Boom scores with a decent looking hook.
Alleman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Boom connects with a body shot.

Alleman moves into range and clinches up with Boom.
Alleman jumps guard but Boom stands there with Alleman around his waist. Alleman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Alleman missing with knees to the body.
Alleman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Boom wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Alleman has him pressed against the cage.
Boom has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Boom wants to break the clinch but can't.
Alleman is trying to break free.
Alleman fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Alleman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boom is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Alleman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boom manages to avoid it.
Alleman looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Boom scores with a jab to the jaw.
Boom throws a right and a left that Alleman avoids nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Boom. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Boom.

Bob Boom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Alleman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Boom lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Boom uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Boom takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.


It looks like Bob Boom has been cut.
Alleman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boom lands with a nice body punch.

Alleman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boom tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Alleman is in Boom's guard.

Alleman stands up from Boom's guard - Alleman perhaps looking for a knockout.
Boom lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Boom looks winded!
A jab from Boom finds it's way through Alleman's defenses.

Boom showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Alleman.
Boom lands with an overhand left.
Boom misses with a few strikes there.
Alleman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boom.
Boom lands a two punch combo.

Alleman drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Alleman gets to his feet. Boom looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Alleman forces Boom back against the cage and clinches.
Alleman is trying to break the clinch but Boom has him pressed against the cage.

Alleman pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Boom misses with a straight right.
Boom is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Alleman had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Boom misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alleman.
Alleman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boom's waist but Boom gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alleman off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jan Alleman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom lands a jab.
Boom misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A combination from Boom does no damage.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Alleman.
Boom really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alleman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The strikes coming from Alleman are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Alleman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Alleman decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Boom is breathing heavily.
Alleman takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Alleman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Alleman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Alleman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boom.
Alleman's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Boom connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Alleman scrambles back to his feet.
Boom wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Boom paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Alleman throws a front kick aimed at Boom's knee but Boom avoids it well.
Alleman shoots in for a takedown but Boom shows good takedown defense.

Alleman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Boom throws a right hand that Alleman ducks under and follows up with a left that Alleman also avoids with ease.

Boom tries to sprawl but Alleman drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Alleman postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Boom to stand up.
Alleman lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Alleman.

Alleman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Boom's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Alleman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Alleman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boom parries the strikes from Alleman easily there. Alleman is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Boom to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



A momentary lapse in concentration from Boom enables Alleman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Boom manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Alleman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Alleman lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Boom backs up against the cage.

Alleman shoots in for a double leg but Boom sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Alleman looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
