The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Streifen sprawls well. Streifen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.

Streifen drives through and clinches with Silva against the cage.
Streifen gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like David Silva has been cut.
Silva jumps guard but Streifen turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Streifen won't allow it.
Streifen lands a nice elbow.
Streifen is struggling to control the position.
Streifen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Silva's defenses.

David Silva's cut is getting worse.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Silva.
Streifen lands an elbow inside that Silva shrugs off.
Streifen lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Silva creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Silva is trying to pull guard but Streifen turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
