The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Munster shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Williams's guard.
Munster postures up in Williams's guard and throws a big left but Williams blocks it.
Munster is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Munster throws a big right hand that misses.
Williams has Munster pulled in close to control his posture.
Munster prevents Williams from getting back to his feet.
Williams utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Munster missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Munster throwing strikes from guard but Williams blocks nicely.
Munster throws a big elbow that misses.
Williams keeping moving, preventing Munster from controlling successfully.
Williams wants to stand but Munster is controlling the position.

Williams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Munster is staying active underneath Williams, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Munster looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Williams wants to stand up but Munster is controlling the position.
Munster is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard.

Williams decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Munster throws a right and a left that Williams avoids nicely.

Munster seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams pushes Munster off but Munster dives into side control.

Munster prevents Williams from escaping the position.
Munster looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Williams is avoiding damage well.

Williams parries the strikes from Munster easily there. Munster is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Williams to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Munster throwing strikes but Williams manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Munster is looking for a sweep.
Williams is looking to take a break and control but Munster is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Munster tries to escape but Williams is in control.
Munster wants to control but Williams postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Williams advances to mount.
Williams controlling the pace for now.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeff Munster will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Williams displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Munster.
Williams finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Munster tries a head kick but it misses.
Munster tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Munster shoots in and drives through. Williams sprawls well.
Williams fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A big left from Williams misses.
Munster lands a head shot.
Williams slaps away a takedown attempt from Munster, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Munster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Munster throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Williams's head.
Williams has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Williams smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Williams misses with an uppercut.
Williams connects with a solid leg kick.

Jeff Munster is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Munster takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Jeff Munster has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Williams thows a body shot but no joy.
Williams lands with a thumping leg kick.
Williams works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Williams looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Munster takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Munster is rocked!

Williams closes the distance and clinches.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Williams.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Williams tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Williams lands a big knee! That's hurt Munster! Oh, he's all over the place! Williams lands another knee that sends Munster to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
