The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Farc is defended easily by Hodge.

Hodge is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Farc is just riding it out for now. Hodge eventually gives up the hold.

Hodge is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Farc still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Farc has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Farc decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hodge to his feet.
