Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Marston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esquiva Falcao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marston closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Marston wants to lay and pray for a moment but Falcao keeps working.
Falcao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Marston is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Falcao is just riding it out for now. Marston eventually gives up the hold.
Marston wants to take a breather but Falcao is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Falcao tries to roll over but Marston keeps him under control.

Falcao looks for a takedown but Marston sprawls well.

Falcao tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Marston defends well and Falcao ends up having to push Marston into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
