The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix throws a one two combo.
Phoenix throws a series of strikes that have Long backpedaling.
Long on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Phoenix stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Phoenix jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Long is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Phoenix's half guard.
Phoenix is looking to get back to is feet but Long passes into side control.
Long scoring with punches from side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Long is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Phoenix is trying to escape and Long transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Phoenix is forced to tap! Nice work there by Long! Very nice indeed!
