Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rostam Samani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Kurtz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walter Kurtz has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rostam Samani's chin.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurtz throws a leg kick which misses Samani's front leg but catches the back leg as Samani tries to avoid it.
Samani throws a series of punches but Kurtz moves out of range.
Kurtz blocks the body kick.
Kurtz throws a hook to the side of Samani's head but Samani sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kurtz swats away the attempt to clinch by Samani.
A combination from Samani does no damage.
Samani throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kurtz counters with a leg kick.
Samani tries to land a front kick but Kurtz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Samani, right into the meat.
Kurtz tries to keep at a distance but Samani has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kurtz tries to work over Samani's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Samani goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kurtz prevents it.
Kurtz lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Samani presses Kurtz against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Kurtz digs a right hand underneath Samani's ribcage. Samani let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Samani lands with a short head shot on the inside.
It looks like Walter Kurtz has been cut.
Kurtz gets through Samani's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Samani drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kurtz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Samani's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Samani drops back looking for a leg! Kurtz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kurtz manages to kick Samani off! Samani jumps back into Kurtz's guard.

Samani wants to control from the top but Kurtz keeps moving.

Samani tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kurtz swivels and escapes.

Samani throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Kurtz lands a big uppercut and Samani crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Samani looks OK. Kurtz waves Samani back to his feet!

Samani throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kurtz counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Samani out cold! What a finish! Kurtz is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Walter Kurtz!
After winning the bout, Walter Kurtz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
