Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cary Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarczopeles Sa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sa has chosen Papa Roach - Last Resort as his entrance music. Jarczopeles Sa will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cary Stout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jarczopeles Sa!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout moves in looking to clinch but Sa pushes him off.

Stout clinches with his opponent.
Sa misses with an elbow strike.
Sa has Stout pressed against the cage, preventing Stout from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Sa wants to get back to striking at distance but Stout won't allow it.
Stout takes an elbow to the temple.
Sa is trying to force a seperation but Stout has the dominant position.
Stout has Sa pressed against the cage, preventing Sa from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Stout is trying to drag Sa to the mat but Sa just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Sa unloads a knee to the mid-section. Stout lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Stout can't find room to land a body shot as Sa controls the action.

Stout taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Sa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Stout shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sa is trying to defend but Stout finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Sa misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Sa is trying to control but can't.
Stout performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Sa tries to kick Stout off but Stout keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stout lands a nice short elbow.
Sa is trying to get back to full guard.
Stout slows the pace down in half guard.
Sa missing with punches from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stout perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Stout passes into side control, despite Sa's attempt to control the position.
Sa is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Stout tries to move to mount but Sa blocks the move with his legs.
Sa is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Stout has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Sa wants to control but Stout postures up.
Sa trying to remain calm as Stout controls from the top position.
Stout wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sa keeps working.

Stout goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sa rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Stout's guard! Nice work there by Sa!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stout pulls Sa in close to his closed guard and prevents Sa from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Stout tries to clinch but Sa moves out of range.

Stout drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sa wants to stand and escape but Stout is having none of it.

Sa working for a triangle but Stout defends it easily.
Sa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Cary Stout overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Stout is looking to stand up but Sa won't let him.
Stout trying to control the position from guard on top but Sa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stout looking to sit in guard and control but Sa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Stout is pulling down on Sa's head to control his posture.
Sa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Cary Stout wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Stout throws a sloppy head kick
and Sa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Sa misses with a two punch combination.
Sa swats away the attempt to clinch by Stout.

and Stout counters with a shoot takedown. Sa fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stout postures up in Sa's guard and throws a big left but Sa blocks it.
Sa wants to stand but Stout is controlling the position.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We're going to have a standup here because Cary Stout wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Sa tries to sprawl but Stout drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Sa is looking for a sweep. Stout is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Stout is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Stout is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stout.
Stout is pressing down on Sa's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sa is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sa is trying to stand up here but Stout is controlling him well.

Cary Stout dominated that second round.
That's time! Stout's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Stout moves forwards but Sa connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sa fails to land the takedown.
Nice straight punches there by Sa. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sa.
Sa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sa fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Stout fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cary Stout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Stout pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Stout shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stout showed some decent athleticism there.
Stout sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Stout is working for a kimura but Sa is defending it quite comfortably.
Stout wants to control but Sa is keeping him busy.

Stout stalling.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Cary Stout wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Stout chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sa can pounce on him.

Stout is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sa's half guard.

Stout is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sa keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Stout wants to free his trapped foot but Sa is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Stout is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Sa manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Stout keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Stout has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sa is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cary Stout. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stout wants to clinch up but Sa keeps it at a distance.
Sa moves into range and connects with a jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sa wants it to stay on the feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cary Stout showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stout, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
