The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Usavich shoots in and bounces St Pierre off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
St Pierre can't keep his opponent in guard - Usavich advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Usavich is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Usavich looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Usavich has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Usavich throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Usavich seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
St Pierre is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Usavich.
Rabbit Usavich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Usavich makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
The crowd cheers as Usavich lands an impressive looking overhand right. St Pierre doesn't seem phased though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Usavich darts in and clinches St Pierre up against the cage.

Usavich breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Usavich lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Usavich pushes St Pierre away with a front kick.
St Pierre fails with the takedown.
Usavich rushes St Pierre with punches - St Pierre moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, St Pierre goes down! Usavich follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
