Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charley Mcpherson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zygmunt Podmialka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zygmunt Podmialka!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Podmialka dives in for a single leg takedown but Mcpherson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Podmialka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Podmialka checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Podmialka closes the distance and clinches up with Mcpherson, looking for a takedown. Podmialka pushes Mcpherson against the cage but Mcpherson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Podmialka tries to clinch up but Mcpherson circles away and keeps his distance.
Nice takedown defense from Podmialka. No joy for Mcpherson on that attempt.

Podmialka feints and as Mcpherson raises his hands in defense, Podmialka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Zygmunt Podmialka was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Podmialka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I would just about give that final round to Zygmunt Podmialka.
Well Podmialka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
