Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hernan Del Fuego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deive Pazos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Del Fuego might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to La gota fria. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pazos cracks a nice hook into Del Fuego's ribs.
Pazos throws a sloppy head kick and Del Fuego moves out of range easily.
Del Fuego bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pazos's head.
Pazos takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Del Fuego tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Pazos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Pazos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Del Fuego is just riding it out for now. Pazos eventually gives up the hold.

Pazos shoots for a double leg takedown but Del Fuego sprawls well. He's pushed Pazos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Pazos is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Del Fuego reverses the position - he's now on top in Pazos's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Del Fuego postures up in Pazos's guard and throws a big left but Pazos blocks it.
Pazos lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Del Fuego!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hernan Del Fuego.
