Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony States (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Trager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Trager will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

States clinches with his opponent.
States definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Trager is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Trager misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Trager gets through States's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Trager tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Trager doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Trager trying to control the position but instead, States has worked for underhooks and has pushed Trager into the cage.
States is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Trager to keep the fight standing.

Trager really doesn't want to stay on the ground with States. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

States looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Trager with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
States wants to stand but Trager has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
