Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyson Howard!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ascx tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ascx misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ascx gets caught flat footed, as Howard shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ascx really is a fat lump.
Ascx can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Howard controls the pace.
Howard throwing strikes from guard but Ascx blocks nicely.
Howard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
It looks like Howard might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tyson Howard.
Howard fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ascx to the ground. Howard is now in Ascx's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ascx keeping moving, preventing Howard from controlling successfully.
Ascx controls Howard momentarily but Howard frees himself.
Ascx is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Howard is controlling him.
Howard pushes down on Ascx's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ground and pound from Howard.
Howard is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ascx is just riding it out for now. Howard eventually gives up the hold.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Howard seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ascx is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Tyson Howard!
