The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yumata moves into the clinch successfully.

Yumata breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Yumata throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boyka.
Yumata shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Boyka defends it nicely.

Yumata uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boyka.
Yumata goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Boyka cracks Yumata with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Yumata tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Yumata dives in and scores a takedown into Boyka's guard.
Yumata has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Boyka is proving hard to escape from.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yumata throws a strike but Boyka rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Yuri Boyka has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Boyka scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Yumata doesn't seem bothered though.
Boyka goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Boyka swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Yumata.

Yumata is rocked!
Yumata leaves his chin hanging out and Boyka seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Yumata crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
