The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freeman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Freeman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Olivieira manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Freeman is pressing down on Olivieira's thigh, looking to free his foot. Olivieira is holding on for now.

Freeman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Olivieira defends it well.

Olivieira has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Freeman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Freeman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Olivieira is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Freeman has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Olivieira to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Freeman is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Olivieira pulls down on the head and he's put Freeman to sleep! This one is all over!
