Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mamed Khalidovv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dutch Gallows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khalidovv comes to the cage accompanied by Shamhan Daldaev - Eto Kavkaz . Gallows has chosen Vesta as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Mamed Khalidovv has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mamed Khalidovv seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallows swings widly with a right hand
and Khalidovv counters with a left and a right that stings Gallows.
Sloppy strikes from Khalidovv. Those never looked like landing.
Gallows misses with a head kick.
Dutch Gallows seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gallows throws a leg kick which misses Khalidovv's front leg but catches the back leg as Khalidovv tries to avoid it.
Khalidovv on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Khalidovv walks into a jab.
Khalidovv throws a head kick that misses.
Khalidovv closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Khalidovv throwing shots but Gallows is blocking nicely.
Khalidovv is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gallows is just riding it out for now. Khalidovv eventually gives up the hold.
Gallows is looking to escape.
Khalidovv has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gallows wants to control but Khalidovv is keeping busy.
Gallows has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Khalidovv is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gallows sees it coming and defends easily.
Khalidovv is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Gallows as he works his way to full guard.

Khalidovv drops back looking for a leg! Gallows is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gallows manages to kick Khalidovv off! Khalidovv jumps back into Gallows's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khalidovv wants to pass the guard but Gallows is keeping the position.

Gallows wants to get back to his feet but Khalidovv is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Khalidovv throws a strike but Gallows rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Khalidovv is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gallows is aware though and is defending well.
Gallows passes Khalidovv's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Khalidovv is looking to improve his position.
Gallows wants to stand up but Khalidovv is controlling the position.

Khalidovv is looking for a triangle here but Gallows uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Well, if Gallows is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Khalidovv tries to roll over but Gallows keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gallows content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Khalidovv has locked up a guillotine! Khalidovv's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Gallows is holding on here and Khalidovv must be using up a lot of energy. Gallows has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Khalidovv gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
