Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Django Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Nichols (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by System Of A Down - Chop Suey! . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nichols closes the distance and clinches.
Nichols blocks an uppercut.
Brown tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nichols's elbow.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Nichols.
Nichols throws a punch but it's blocked by Brown.

Nichols gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Brown regains guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Brown looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Nichols trying to control but Brown is working from the bottom.

Brown throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Nichols escapes and throws Brown's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Nichols wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brown keeps working.

Brown has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brown is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Zack Nichols dominated that round.
That's time! Brown's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
Brown with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nichols to score with a decent uppercut.

Nichols rushes Brown and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Nichols tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Nichols lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Brown wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Brown misses with a hook from the clinch.

Nichols is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Brown can't fight it off and eventually Nichols manages to take the fight to the floor. Brown looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Brown looking for a triangle here. Nichols is fighting it but it looks tight! Brown pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Nichols is tapping out - this one is all over!
