Matrix has chosen Loner - Black Sabbath as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cedrick Stevenson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, The Matrix!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matrix forces Stevenson back against the cage and clinches.
Stevenson stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Matrix breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A punch combination from Stevenson misses.
Stevenson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Matrix.
Stevenson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Matrix counters with a thumping low kick.
Stevenson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Matrix darts in and out, connecting with a jab.


It looks like Cedrick Stevenson has been cut.
Matrix tries to close the distance and clinch but Stevenson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stevenson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Matrix to score with a decent uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stevenson missing with a left hand there. Matrix was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Matrix throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Matrix throws a combination that misses
and Stevenson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Matrix thinking.
Stevenson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Matrix.
Stevenson looks to land a left hand but Matrix moved out of range nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Matrix throws a series of punches but Stevenson avoids them all with ease.
The fighters circle momentarily. Stevenson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


It looks like The Matrix has been cut.
Matrix slips a jab from Stevenson.
Matrix ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stevenson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Matrix walks into a left hand.
Stevenson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Matrix fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nice uppercut lands for Stevenson. That snapped Matrix's head back.
Matrix scores with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Matrix wobbles Stevenson with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Matrix dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Stevenson to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). The Matrix!
An out of breath The Matrix thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
