Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark DeLuca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Vaccaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeLuca's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Welcome To The Jungle. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vaccaro advances position into side control!
Vaccaro trying to control the action but DeLuca is working from the bottom.

Vaccaro is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, DeLuca has escaped the position, nice work there.
DeLuca is working to avoid the ground and pound but Vaccaro connects with a decent elbow.
Vaccaro wants to lay and pray for a moment but DeLuca keeps working.
DeLuca knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vaccaro on the ground.

Vaccaro tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vaccaro has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
DeLuca is not content to let Vaccaro control the position.

Vaccaro misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
DeLuca is trying to get back to half guard.
Vaccaro has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for DeLuca!
DeLuca wants to hold on but Vaccaro pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
DeLuca has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Vaccaro looking for the choke but no joy.

Vaccaro is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

DeLuca is trying to stand back up.
Vaccaro is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
DeLuca looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vaccaro has his arm under DeLuca's chin here. Game over son! Vaccaro squeezes tightly and DeLuca is forced to tap out!
