Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Pain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul McKilly!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKilly tries to clinch there but Pain circles away.
McKilly gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pain scores with a shot to the body.
McKilly cracks Pain with a good jab.
Pain lands with a hook. McKilly tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Paul McKilly has been cut.
Pain keeps the fight on the outside.
Pain seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Pain misses the jab.
Pain swings for the body but McKilly moves out of range.
Johnny Pain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pain with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A combination from Pain does no damage.
Pain tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McKilly was well out of range. Poor timing from Pain.
McKilly tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pain swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McKilly swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pain lands a jab to the nose.
Pain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McKilly moves away.
McKilly doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McKilly takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pain lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
McKilly is rocked!
McKilly has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
McKilly bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Pain comes at him with an uppercut from hell! McKilly falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! McKilly was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Pain!
