And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julio El Toro!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and El Toro counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
El Toro throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

It looks like Camber Cartwright has been cut.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cartwright tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but El Toro wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
El Toro lands a nice forearm strike.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw El Toro working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

El Toro is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cartwright has escaped the position, nice work there.
El Toro lands a strong strike to the head of Cartwright. That's dazed him! El Toro looking to finish here. Cartwright is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - El Toro lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

After winning the bout, Julio El Toro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
