PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donnatello Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewayne Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Moss might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Made You Look. Dewayne Bryant has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Moss!
Nice sprawl there from Moss as Bryant shoots in.

Moss closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Moss just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bryant's brow.
Moss definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

It looks like Dewayne Bryant has been cut.
With the fighters up against the cage, Moss throws an elbow but misses.
Moss comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Bryant decides to pull guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Bryant has his foot on Moss's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moss works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moss stands up from Bryant's guard - Moss perhaps looking for a knockout.

Donnatello Moss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dewayne Bryant.

Bryant jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Moss walks away with a smile on his face. Bryant gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bryant drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bryant goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Moss has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bryant but great work by Moss.

Moss has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Bryant tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Moss defends well and Bryant ends up having to push Moss into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bryant has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Moss is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
With the fighters up against the cage, Moss throws an elbow but misses.

Bryant has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Moss after a bit of a struggle.
Bryant is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
