Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mahti Sonni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lincoln Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sonni kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Aki & Turo - Mahtisonni - . Reid has chosen Sub Focus - Rock it as his entrance music. The key to victory for Mahti Sonni has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Reid wants it to stay on the feet.
Reid looks for a takedown but Sonni sprawls well.
Sonni gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Reid is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Reid felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Sonni is working for a kimura but Reid is defending it quite comfortably.
