The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sazuki tries a head kick but it misses.
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sazuki throws a body kick that misses.
Sazuki throws a head kick that misses.
Silva avoids a kick to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Sazuki misses the target.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Sazuki throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
No luck for Silva with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jo Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sazuki throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.

Silva looks for a takedown but Sazuki sprawls well.
Silva avoids the head kick by Sazuki.
Sazuki throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sazuki as he avoids it easily.
Kenta Sazuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sazuki pinned against the cage. Sazuki gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sazuki wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.
Sazuki misses with a body kick.

Sazuki drives through and clinches with Silva against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sazuki lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Sazuki is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Silva can't fight it off and eventually Sazuki manages to take the fight to the floor. Silva looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sazuki looks gassed!
Sazuki throws a strike but Silva rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Sazuki wants to improve his position but instead Silva has moved into half guard.
Sazuki looks like he's trying to stand up.

Silva seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Sazuki is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
