Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Doumbos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriah Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uriah Hall has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Doumbos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Uriah Hall!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall defending well as Doumbos loads up on a big left hand.
Doumbos fails to land the takedown.
Doumbos throws a series of punches but Hall avoids them all with ease.
Doumbos throws out a loose jab but Hall uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hall is looking to chop away at Doumbos's legs.
We've been hearing reports that Doumbos has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Doumbos swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A slow jab from Hall misses its intended target.
Doumbos checks a leg kick.
Hall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A cross from Hall lands.
Doumbos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Doumbos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hall's waist but Hall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Doumbos off to one side.
Hall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Doumbos pinned against the cage. Doumbos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Doumbos misses with a few strikes there.
Doumbos looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Doumbos is thwarting Hall's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Doumbos content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Doumbos connects with a nice short shot to Hall's temple.
Doumbos is nestled in close to Hall, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Doumbos scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Doumbos throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Doumbos is trying to control. Hall wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Doumbos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hall's head.
Doumbos not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Doumbos throws a strike but Hall avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Doumbos advances position into side control!
Doumbos tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doumbos lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hall down.
Hall is trying to control Doumbos's posture but Doumbos avoids it.
Hall tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Doumbos wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Doumbos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hall keeps working.
Doumbos working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Hall is rocked!
It looks like Uriah Hall has been cut.
Doumbos cracks Hall with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Doumbos immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Hall is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Doumbos!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Doumbos!
