Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Donald Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Bitters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bitters comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lunatic Fringe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Donald Robinson had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gary Bitters!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Robinson.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown but Bitters shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bitters ducks under a wild hook from Robinson.
Bitters connects with a looping right hand.
Bitters throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bitters has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Robinson is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Bitters scores with a hook.
Bitters uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Robinson has time to react.
Robinson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bitters is fending him off so far but Robinson persists. Nope, Bitters circles away and we're back to standing.
Bitters paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bitters lands a jab.
Bitters slaps away a takedown attempt from Robinson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donald Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Robinson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bitters throws a combination. Robinson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bitters bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Robinson on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Robinson takes one on the chin but seems OK.

A jab lands there for Bitters.
Oh Robinson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bitters is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Robinson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Robinson shoots in for a takedown but Bitters shows good takedown defense.
Bitters walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Robinson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Bitters swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Robinson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
