Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chung Kai Mo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kjartan Bakken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai Mo misses with a leg kick
and Bakken connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Kai Mo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bakken is looking to control Kai Mo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bakken avoid being mounted?

Kai Mo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bakken is just riding it out for now. Kai Mo eventually gives up the hold.
Kai Mo wants to pass the guard but Bakken is defending well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kai Mo connects with a nice short shot to Bakken's temple.
Kai Mo is just content to waste time from the top position. Bakken takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Kai Mo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bakken with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kai Mo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bakken keeps working.

Kai Mo decides to stand and escape the position.
Bakken scores with a hook to the body. Kai Mo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Kai Mo feints and as Bakken raises his hands in defense, Kai Mo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kai Mo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bakken is trying to escape the mount but Kai Mo keeps good control and instead manages to take Bakken's back.

Bakken manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kai Mo's guard. Nice work there by Bakken.

Bakken is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kai Mo has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Bakken has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bakken throws a one two combo.
Kai Mo loads up on a big right hand but Bakken slips the punch.
Bakken comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kai Mo misses with a takedown attempt - Bakken sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chung Kai Mo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kai Mo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bakken sprawls well. Bakken wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kai Mo gets slowly back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bakken enables Kai Mo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bakken manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Bakken manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Kai Mo is trying to drag Bakken to the mat but Bakken just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bakken wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Kai Mo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bakken defends it nicely.

Bakken connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kai Mo's hands.

Kai Mo closes the distance and clinches up with Bakken, looking for a takedown. Kai Mo pushes Bakken against the cage but Bakken circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bakken takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kai Mo shoots in but no luck this time.

Kjartan Bakken seems to be getting the better of the standup.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
