Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Athan Stamatis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caeas Liege (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stamatis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lose Yourself. Liege comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Will T. Bear: For a Few Dollars kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stamatis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Liege misses with a takedown attempt - Stamatis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Stamatis loads up on a big right hand but Liege slips the punch.
Liege has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Liege darts in looking for a takedown but Stamatis gets double underhooks and turns Liege into the ropes.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Liege drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Stamatis dives on top into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stamatis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Liege has control of Stamatis's left arm, preventing Stamatis from doing any damage.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Stamatis cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Liege tries to lock up and control but Stamatis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Stamatis lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Liege is rocked!
Stamatis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Stamatis connects with a bit shot that sees Liege covering up! More strikes from Stamatis and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Stamatis is our winner by TKO!
