Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Genki Dama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyka is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Van Damme - Lion Heart (Final Fight). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dama scores with a jab.
An inside leg kick from Dama misses.
Boyka takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Dama displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boyka throws out the jab.

Dama shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dama showed some decent athleticism there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dama has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
