The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spitwater stuffs the takedown attempt from Ramdane. Ramdane gets slowly back to his feet.
Spitwater tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramdane swats him away and circles back towards the center.

It looks like Jimmy Spitwater has been cut.

No joy there for Ramdane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ramdane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spitwater swivels and escapes.

Ramdane is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Spitwater can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
