Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Kirby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimura Lim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jim Kirby has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jim Kirby seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kimura Lim!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirby throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lim was covering up waiting for the punch and Kirby finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kirby's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Lim has an active guard here but Kirby has managed to pass into half guard.
Kirby controlling the action here.
Kirby could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kirby has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Lim works to full guard.
Lim is looking for a triangle here but Kirby uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Kirby is looking to take a break and control but Lim is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kirby controls the position.
Kirby tries for a kimura but Lim is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kirby has hold of Lim's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lim seems comfortable defending it but Kirby has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lim is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lim is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kirby couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jim Kirby!
