Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solomon Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solomon Kane is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Solomon Kane!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Lee ducks right into an uppercut from Kane.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Lee decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Lee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kane is trying to maintain the position but Lee is very close to passing his half guard.

Lee wants to work for an arm triangle but Kane is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Lee takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kane moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lee has time to react.
This has been an exciting period of action!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.
Lee postures up in Kane's guard and throws a big left but Kane blocks it.

Lee drops back looking for a leg! Kane is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kane manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Kane's guard.

Lee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kane uses from the top position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
