Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Davidson tries to bum rush Roman with a series of wild strikes but Roman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Davidson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Davidson wants it to stay on the feet.
Roman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Roman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Davidson throws a series of punches but Roman avoids them all with ease.
Roman lands a two punch combo.
Davidson misses with a wild combination.
Willie Davidson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Roman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Davidson was covering up waiting for the punch and Roman finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Roman slips nicely into half guard.

Roman wants to work for an arm triangle but Davidson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Davidson is looking for a sweep. Roman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Roman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Davidson has a hand on Roman's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Roman takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Davidson tries to lock up and control but Roman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Roman moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Davidson has worked his arm free - good work by Davidson!

Roman has hold of Davidson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Davidson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Roman cranks the arm and Davidson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Davidson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
