Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Titus Kahoohalphala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuroda Atsushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kahoohalphala's entrance music is Diablo Swing Orchestra - Ragdoll Physics. A fine choice. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Kuroda Atsushi enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahoohalphala looks to land a left hand but Atsushi moved out of range nicely.
Kahoohalphala has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Sydney Elite Systems in the buildup to the fight.
Atsushi scores with a takedown into Kahoohalphala's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Atsushi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Kahoohalphala wants to sweep but no luck.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Atsushi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Atsushi trying to control but Kahoohalphala is working from the bottom.
Atsushi sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Kahoohalphala has his foot on Atsushi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Atsushi works his way back into a safe position though.

Kahoohalphala is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Atsushi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kahoohalphala pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kahoohalphala wants to lay and pray for a moment but Atsushi keeps working.
Atsushi tries to roll over but Kahoohalphala keeps him under control.
Kahoohalphala uses his free foot to push down on Atsushi's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Atsushi.

Kahoohalphala wants to control the pace but Atsushi is squirming around nicely.

Kahoohalphala fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Atsushi wants to hold on but Kahoohalphala pushes him away.

Kahoohalphala will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kahoohalphala cracks Atsushi with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Atsushi is still in real trouble! Can Kahoohalphala finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Atsushi is squirming around, avoiding Kahoohalphala's attempts to control the action.
Atsushi seems to have recovered his senses.

Kahoohalphala lands a big shot to the head and Atsushi winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
