Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sean Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Siegel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sean Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Benjamin Siegel!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Siegel has closed the distance and engaged Foster in a clinch.

Siegel tightens his grip and picks Foster up, before dumping him to the ground. Foster manages to land in guard.
Siegel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Siegel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Benjamin Siegel has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Foster dives in for a single leg takedown but Siegel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Foster is trying to push Siegel away but Siegel has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Siegel lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Siegel gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Siegel not doing much here.

Siegel wants to work for an arm triangle but Foster is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Siegel tries to pass the half guard into mount. Foster knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Nice straight punches there by Siegel. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Siegel.
Foster shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Siegel moves into the clinch.
Foster wants a takedown but no success here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Siegel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Siegel scores with a hook to the body. Foster takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Siegel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Foster doesn't seem bothered though.
Foster shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Siegel as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Siegel forces Foster back against the cage and clinches.

Siegel gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Foster regains guard.
Siegel pushes down on Foster's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Siegel content to control rather than advance.
Siegel wants to pass to mount but Foster is defending the position.
Siegel is taking a breather. Foster says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Benjamin Siegel hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Siegel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Foster manages to avoid it.
Nice uppercut lands for Siegel. That snapped Foster's head back.

Crunch! Siegel slams his shin into Foster's torso.
Foster misses with a takedown
and Siegel counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Siegel scores with a nice right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Siegel lands with a hook. Foster tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Siegel throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Foster tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Siegel is in Foster's guard.

Siegel stays in close to Foster's body and controls the position.
Siegel forces his way into half guard.
Siegel slows the pace down in half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Siegel is taking a breather. Foster says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Foster's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Foster doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Foster misses with a head kick.
Siegel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Foster has been working on his balance at MMA Sanok Training Center, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Siegel.

Siegel gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Come on Siegel - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Siegel scores with a nice hook to the head.

Siegel gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Foster throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Foster can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Siegel controls the pace.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Siegel's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Siegel stands and throws Foster's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Benjamin Siegel has got the better of the ground game so far.

You can see the frustration on Foster's face as Siegel controls the position.

Foster is trying to escape the position but Siegel is controlling the position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Foster wants to get back to his feet.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Benjamin Siegel wasn't active enough on the ground.
Foster throws a leg kick that misses.

Siegel takes the fight into the clinch.

Siegel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Foster avoids the head kick by Siegel.
Foster takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Siegel scores with a jab. Foster acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Siegel has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Siegel cracks Foster with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Siegel has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Foster to stand back up!

Benjamin Siegel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Foster walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Siegel! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Benjamin Siegel!
Benjamin Siegel took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Learned... you should have paid your protection!'.
