Nogueria shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nelson's guard.

Nelson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nogueria haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Roy Nelson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Nelson lands a big right hand that sends Nogueria crashing to the mat! Nelson stays standing though and waves Nogueria back to his feet!
Nelson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Nogueria gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Nelson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
