Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raoul Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwight Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duke kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bat Country - Avenge Sevenfold. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard throws an overhand right that lands on Duke's shoulder, as Duke tries to avoid the shot.
Duke tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Duke loads up on a big right hand but Howard slips the punch.
Howard fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Duke checks it well.
Howard tries to land a front kick but Duke steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Duke throws the kick towards the body but Howard avoids it.
Howard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Howard swats away the attempt to clinch by Duke.
Howard cracks Duke with a right hand to the side of the head.
Howard lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Howard scores with a head kick. Duke tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Duke avoids the body shot from Howard.
Howard throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Howard darts in trying to clinch
enabling Duke to counter with a crisp jab.
Howard has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Howard throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Duke fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Howard with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nice jab there from Howard.
Howard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Duke stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Howard lands with a nice body punch.
Howard dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Duke. That did some damage!

Duke throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Howard connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Howard wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Howard throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Duke.
Howard scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Duke doesn't seem bothered though.
Duke is breathing heavily.
Howard lands a big head kick that sends Duke tumbling to the mat! Howard takes a step backwards and waves Duke back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Duke is rocked!
It looks like Raoul Duke has been cut.
Duke tries to close the distance and clinch but Howard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Howard throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Duke is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dwight Howard!
A relieved looking Dwight Howard thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
