Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackjan Tio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jackjan Tio!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tio circles away from the clinch attempt
and Tio counters by clinching up.
Po keeps control of Tio as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Po has Tio pressed against the cage, preventing Tio from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Tio pulls guard effortlessly.
Po wants to stand but Tio has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Po decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A head kick misses from Tio.
Tong Po seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tio circles away from the clinch attempt
and Tio counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Tio avoiding damage as Po throws knees to the body.

Po lands a knee to the body.
Tio tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Po smiles and moves away.
Po tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Po blocks a head kick by Tio.
Po has managed to clinch.
Po tries to land knees in the clinch but Tio avoids the damage to the body.

Po misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tio.

Po takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Tong Po has been cut.
Tio changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Po fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Tio fails with a takedown attempt.
Tong Po has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackjan Tio.
Po tries to clinch
and Tio counters with a big head kick but Po shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Po tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Tio counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tio.
Tio drags the fight down to the ground.
Tio wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Tio controls Po momentarily but Po frees himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tio looking to hit a scissor sweep but Po is one step ahead there.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jackjan Tio.
Tio throws a head kick but Po moves out of range.
Tio avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tio keeps the fight on the outside.
Po tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Tio counters with a single leg into guard. Po didn't expect that.
Po is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Tio dives into side control.

Po is pushing Tio's head away, looking to escape. Tio manages to hold on to the position though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tio cracks Po with a big right hand but Po just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Tio is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Po is trying to escape and Tio transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Po is forced to tap! Nice work there by Tio! Very nice indeed!
